Our Steels

SPRING STEEL:

We have more than 100 years of experience with spring steel (round and flat) manufacturing. Knowledge, perfection and experience we gathered through many years of production, are priceless for us as well as for our clients. Besides typical features of steel, this group of steels needs to have an additional feature. After having been substantially bent and twisted, this steel has to return to its original form after being unloaded. Close cooperation with our clients, research institutes and our own knowledge have enabled us to follow all the demands of automotive industry. Development of spring steels ensures increasing durable dynamic strength. All we have achieved in the previous years, places us among the leading European spring steel manufacturers. Round spring steel is delivered in peeled state too.

ENGINEERING STEEL:

Our largest group of steels has also grown with us since the beginnings of the company. Our company has successfully developed and grown, and through the years and new technologies, our assortment of engineering steels has grown too. Our engineering steel is due to wide programme spectrum indispensable in automotive industry, forges, machine manufacture… Engineering steel can be delivered in hot rolled as well as in peeled state.

EXEM STEEEL WITH IMPROVED MACHINABILITY:

The steel we have developed with only one purpose – to increase its machinability. Use of this steel increases lifetime of cutting tools up to four times, which considerably reduces the costs for the user. With this procedure, we transform hard aluminium oxides, which are the main cause of tool wear, into plastic calcium aluminates with an outer layer of calcium sulphide. The sulphide layer transforms itself during machining process into a lubricating layer between the cutting tool and the machined part, what results in better machinability. This group of steels was protected by our EXEM STEEL trademark. These steels can also be delivered hot rolled or peeled.
